This Wednesday Amanda will sing for princess Victoria on her 33th birthday witch as usual celebrates with a traditional day at Öland in Sweden. Amanda is performing with her wonderful "Happyland". Artists like Martin Stenmarck, Eric Saade, Charlotte Perrelli, Lisa Nilsson, Peter Jöback and spelmannen Görgen Antonsson will also perform for Victoria.
SVT 1 is covering the day and the broadcast will start at 9 PM, Swedish time.
The picture is taken on the Victoria day 2007.

Amanda joined a radio show in Sweden, where she talked for 1,5 h and played music that she likes. If you want to hear the show you can listen to it
here. It's in Swedish.
She starts with the words: "I am a gardener, I wound and I water the melodies and ideas, and as everyone else knows it sometimes requires some crap to make it grow".
She played some old jazz and lovely tunes from The Kinks, Ella Fitzgerald and Cab Calloway.

On Saturday, Amanda appeared on the festival Peace & Love in Borläge. It was crowded when she performed her jazzy number on the Eldorado scene. She said that it was probably the largest audience she had stood in front of. The audience sang, danced and clapped to the beat of Amanda's beautiful voice on the hottest day this summer, so far. A very nice gig. Check out some nice pictures on Rockfoto and Musicstage.
The day before Amanda was in Kiruna at the Kiruna Festival where she received great reviews. Next stop for the band becomes in the Swedish town Gimo. Keep an eye on the events tab to see when Amanda is visiting a city near you.

If you stop by Sweden anytime this summer you might be able to see Amanda perform. In July, the 3 / 7, you can see Amanda at Peace & Love in Borlänge where she appears with her band on stage between 20:45 to 21:45. You also got a chance on Friday the 30 / 7 when she is present at the festival in Karlskoga, Putte i Parken.
You can also see Amanda in a bunch of other cities in Sweden as Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Helsingborg, Halmstad and others. Visit the live page to see all the gigs and cities.

Amanda came home today from Amsterdam in Holland where she performed "Amarula Tree" live on the radio. They managed to take a walk in the beautiful city before it was time to go back to the airport, they visited some wonderful vintage shops and bought a few dresses and a new hat. Maybe we'll see them during the summer tour?
